The worship services are central to everything. We gather to praise God. We share the peace and each other's company as we "fill our tanks". We offer different services but celebrate as one community. To encourage children to attend the worship service, Sunday school is held in-between services. Between services is a gathering time when there is always a crowd relaxing in our welcome area for coffee and donuts. That time is also often a time for a quick Bible study or orientation of new members.
All of our services follow a Lutheran service order, which always includes a Gathering Time (with Confession & Forgiveness), Word (with readings from the Lectionary Calendar and the Pastor's sermon), Meal (with an offering and Communion served each week), and a Sending (with a blessing and dismissal).
"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."
Matthew 18:20
